CAREERS

Providing the Highest Quality of Care

Bridgewater Care is a family run business with a small team of professional carers dedicated to meeting the individual needs of each and every one of our Service Users. More than anything else we truly understand the importance of enabling our clients to retain their independence. We believe that when individuals are most vulnerable because of illness, disability or age, they need kind and caring attention and deserve the utmost protection.

OUR VALUES

Our Company Values

We are always on the lookout for exceptional people that can help us build an outstanding reputation for providing the highest quality of care. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and whilst experience is great, it’s not necessary. Instead, we ask that you demonstrate you live our Company values, are able to work alternate weekends, hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car.

Calmness

A calm perspective emphasises solutions over drama and calm leadership inspires others to be calm.

Compassion

Noting, feeling and responding. This means that we a) demonstrate caring for every individual either in our care or our employer b) attempt to be as helpful as possible when it is in our power to do so and c) take time to listen so that we really understand the others views and situation.

Dependability

We seek to be trusted to do what is needed when it’s needed and to offer support to Service Users and their families alike. It’s about demonstrating consistent behaviour until it’s the norm.

Efficiency

To strive for excellence through different work practices and to obtain the best possible outcome in the least wasteful manner by maintaining dynamic, relevant policies and procedures while consistently supporting a quality workforce.

Freedom

We champion the freedom to choose, the freedom to speak, the freedom for people to live life on their own terms.

Honesty

Not only is honesty simply the best policy as a matter of principle, it also makes good business sense. When you are honest, your Service Users, their families and workforce will respect it.

Passion

Is the motivation that drives our Company forward. Passion drives excellence and continual improvement – without it, it would not be possible to deliver the high standard of care we seek to provide.

Respect

We make it a priority to treat each person as we ourselves would want to be treated. To us respect for the individual means more than just smiling and being polite. It means every person is of equal value and deserves the same level of care, respect and attention regardless of individual need or change in need.

Teamwork

We work as a single team to ensure we provide the best person-centered care possible to our clients, we will collaborate well, acknowledge and learn from each other and seek to first understand the other person before we seek to be understood.
